Given that Rawtwat the Vicious has buggered off, as have ^CEshe^V and Anarchasshole, and given that other users who used to feature in my posts have proved useful rather than irritating (where is The Great Deceiver at the moment though?), I may as well rename this blog "Elliot the Obnoxiously Thick Watch" and have done with it.
Do you remember this thread about a possible change to the Journal Entries template? No? Well the basic idea is to have one table for quests with multiple sections. The Masked Template Guru made the original suggestion and TGD agreed only for EtOT to slip into Doctor No mode.
There the matter rested until MTG went ahead and made the change. Then the fun begins.
EtOT posts on MTG's talk page moaning about lack of consensus (the irony is almost flattening given that it comes from somebody who doesn't believe in consensus) and saying that he has half a mind. Oh, sorry - "I have half a mind to revert every single edit."
MTG disagrees and points out that "If you'd like to revert them all, that's your right, but I rather suspect it would be seen as malicious and earn you disciplinary action. That's not up to me, though."
EtOT's next post is a mass of crap even by his standards:
"2-1 is not consensus, especially when the main opposition is by the person who structured and implemented it. I find this extremely disrespectful and insulting. Perhaps you should get 'disciplinary action"
First, it was rpeh who wrote the template and the whole thing was his idea. Second, it's neither disrespectful nor insulting. Third, there's no reason for MTG to be disciplined.
Elliot should know about WP:POINT though, which would apply to his own suggestion.
Elliot - and I know you still read this - fuck off. You're not helping anything and you're doing nothing to stop people from regarding you as a moron.

Rpeh started the template, yes. I finished it. I was the one who put it everywhere, so yeah, I think I have a little more say in the matter.

You "finished" it with 57 edits with summaries like "oops" (7 of them, or variants), two "sorry server"s, "bah, forget it" and many other hilarious screw-ups.

Nephele only introduced #splitargs because rpeh specifically asked for it. You took rpeh's idea and Nephele's function, fucked around with them for days, and left it to other people to fix your mistakes.
I know you like to brag about your edit count, but when 57 of them come on a pretty simple template like this one, it's not that impressive.
Again, for someone who was on the wiki you are pretty fucking stupid. It's actually miraculous you know how to even walk.

And that wasn't a 'fix.' It was a simplifying measure taken. There is a massive difference.

You attempted to take credit for other people's work on UESP. What you say here doesn't count. Why not post a little addition on the Masked Template Guru's talk page then we can all move on.

It is pretty funny you are getting so defensive. Sorry, I made the 700 edits to put it on the wiki. I tweaked it as I went along. I helped in the process to get it to where it is now. A lot of the discussion was in the IRC, where you were not located. Some was in email. But regardless, I did more than Nephele and rpeh when it comes to the whole package with the template.

Elliot, you are the one who needs to step away from the keyboard. Lots of people read this and they are all becoming more and more convinced that you are not to be taken seriously. I'm on IE so my spelling sucks (I miss my spell-check) and I have a LLLLOOOOOONNNNGGGG way to go before patrollership, but I learned that if you hang around long enough and make constructive edits then it will come in time...and another thing, where did you get Elliot? Do you think that was him that pretended to be me?

Things like one of rpehs comments on here and SerC's post about Elliot's De-patrollership just kind of keep me going.

Elliot was threatening to disrupt UESP to prove a point about policy, which is the activity explicitly proscribed by WP:POINT.
You were linking to well-known phrases to be a patronising asshole, which is why I gave you your name.
Since UESP uses WP policy as a default, pointing it out was entirely appropriate.
Try again when you have a serious point to make.
Oh - and the word "über" takes an umlaut over the "u".
